Creek and creak are homophones, i.e., they pronounced in the same way but are spelt differently. They also have different meanings. The former is a small tributary, which is narrow. A creek is significantly smaller than a river.
A creak, on the other hand, is the squeaking or scraping noise produced when a rickety or brand new door is either closed or opened.
